As a place for holiday relaxing, SeeAnn Retreat stands out with its minimalist and calming design. The project not only fulfills its basic commercial function as a functional and efficient building but also provides a cozy environment that ensures the comfort of its occupants. The careful control of costs and analysis of spatial relationships among different building elements contribute to the success of this project.
The retreat's rooms feature white cement walls, light wood grain, and rattan, with custom-made furniture placed strategically throughout. The minimalist furniture strikes a balance between visual appeal and cost-effectiveness. Each room is designed with different themes, taking into consideration the shapes and sightlines to create unique and engaging spaces. From the spring room to the tea room and the family room, each space offers a distinct experience.
Spanning a total area of 600 square meters, SeeAnn Retreat provides ample space for guests to unwind and connect with nature. The project started in April 2019 in ZheJiang and was completed in May 2020. The careful arrangement of walls, columns, floor slabs, and ceiling slabs creates an open and clean space that facilitates diverse human activities. The design aims to strike a balance between human and nature, creating an intimate ambiance that fosters a sense of harmony.
SeeAnn Retreat challenges the notion of traditional vacation spaces by encouraging guests to disconnect from the internet and immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. It offers a much-needed respite from the digital world, allowing individuals to truly relax and rejuvenate.
Recognized for its excellence, SeeAnn Retreat was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while incorporating innovative and practical elements. SeeAnn Retreat stands as a testament to the integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, ultimately contributing to a better world.
